Peter Langner with his complete love and intense knowledge of art and art history moved to Paris from Germany where he was born, to study at the world renowned Chambre Syndicale. Shortly after entering the school, Peter's arresting talent was so obvious that he was asked by the directore to design the wedding gown of her daughter as well as her own!

    Although the words not originally his own but those belonging to another great couturier, Ballenciaga, "a couturier should be: an architect for its plans, a sculptor for its forms, a painter for the colors, a musician for the harmony and a philosopher for the sizes..." clearly reflects Peter's approach.
